Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime Singapore Price

Another year-end release from Samsung’s stable is the Galaxy J5 Prime. It’s a budget phone and it’s created to compete with the likes of Xiaomi and OPPO.

Honestly, Samsung’s lack of Innovation in form factor’s is a bit annoying. All their phones look the same, whether it’s in the premium segment or the budget segment. The only redeeming quality about the way the phone looks is the Gold coloured version.

Getting to the specifications.

It has a 5 inch screen with a primary camera of 13 megapixel. Considering it’s a budget phone, it runs on a 2GB RAM and a 2400 mAh battery.

The battery is a topic of discussion because 2400 mAh is definitely less considering the apps that are out these days and the power they consume. It has an internal memory of 16 GB which again isn’t sufficient because if the user likes to take pictures and videos, then that space gets over soon. The memory is expandable up to 256GB. A dedicated slot is provided.

The primary camera is 5MP which again comes up short in terms of the standard.

Based on  the features and the specifications, this is a perfect gift to give a parent who knows how to use a smartphone, but will not do justice to premium bells and whistles.
