The Galaxy A30 like most mid-range and budget smartphones have a simple design and form-factor. It weighs 165 grams and it has a thickness of 7.7m, which is pretty thin and light.
The colours it’s available in are Black, Blue and Red, which are pretty catchy.
The phone also has a fingerprint sensor in the back.
The Display
The A30 has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display. It has a teardrop notch on top and its bezels are quite thin. It also has a pixel density of 403ppi, which is pretty good.
The Performance
The phone runs on a chipset that is Samsung’ very own Exynos 7 Octa 7904. It has a graphics support that is powered by Mali-G71 MP2.
The Octa-core 1.87 GHz, Dual Core, Cortex A73 is pretty awesome. It has a 4GB RAM which is pretty good for a mid-range smartphone.
The internal memory is a respectable 64GB which can be expanded up to 512GB.
The Camera
The camera set-up on this device is a 16MP + 5MP front camera and a front camera of 16MP. It has numerous features such as Exposure Compensation, ISO Control, Continuous Shooting, HDR and a LED flash.
For a mid-range phone, the A30’s cameras are pretty good and can be used for taking good quality photos.
The Battery
The phone carries a 4000 mAh Li-ion type battery, which is pretty good and lasts for more than an entire day.
Overall, the A30 is a splendid device with awesome cameras, a good display and an incredible battery life. It’s a good phone for a great price.
