Oppo R17 Pro Singapore Price
The Oppo R17 Pro Singapore is a 2018 upgrade on the R17.
Continuing with the trend of making beautiful smartphones, the R17 Pro rocks a gradient back that is nothing like you’ve seen before. This is a phone on which you wouldn’t want to put a cover.
What makes this phone even more interesting is the presence of two features that are unseen on most phones. We’ll cover them in a bit.
Coming to the specifications, the phone runs on Android 8.1(Oreo). Just like it’s predecessor, the display is a 6.4inch AMOLED screen with a waterdrop notch look that looks beautiful.
The chipset on the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710. The internal memory is 128GB with no option to extend it which is a bit disappointing. Similar to the R17, the RAM on the R17 pro is 8GB.
Coming to the first of the “interesting” features. The R17 Pro has 3 camera lenses in the back that are 20MP(Main lens), 12MP(Secondary lens) and a 3D Stereo camera lens. The third lens packs the AI features of the phone.
The front camera is a mind-blowing 25MP with AI features.
The fingerprint sensor is within the display just like the R17.
The second “interesting” feature that makes the R17 Pro different is the presence of two batteries. Both the batteries have 1850 mAh capacity that total to 3750 mAh.
According to Oppo, you get a 40% charge on your phone just under 10 minutes. The presence of two batteries helps in very quick charging and optimum utilization of power.
The R17 Pro is a truly unique device, although more expensive than the R17, the cost increase is justified. The presence of 3 lenses’ makes this a potent photo/video taking machine.
The splitting of the batteries is also an interesting ploy by Oppo to optimally use the batteries and give fast charging capabilities.
