Honor 9X Singapore Price
Huawei’s Honor’s latest release is the 9X. It’s the last phone from Huawei that is not hit by the Google ban. How does it fare?
The Honor 9X Singapore has a massive LCD display that is a 6.6-inch behemoth. It has a 91% screen to body ratio and it’s all screen. For an LCD display, it’s quite great. The screen is probably the best aspect of the Honor 9X.
It has a triple camera set-up in the back along with a fingerprint sensor. It has a USB-C port and a 3.5mm jack which will be appreciated by the old-school smartphone fans.
The 9X runs on Android 9 with the EMUI layer on top. It does have a bit of bloatware which is quite annoying. It runs on the mid-range Kirin 710F chipset. This chipset is pretty good and works well for the 9X.
The phone comes in two versions – 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM with storage starting at 64GB.
The cameras on the Honor 9X are a bit of a disappointment. The triple camera in the back boasts of a 48MP shooter and an 8MP ultra wide camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
The issue is in the inconsistency of the quality of the photos. Some are good while others are just average.
The front camera is a tad better at 16MP and has the AI features for portrait and so on.
The 9X is powered by a 4000 mAh battery which can easily last your for one and a half days and in some cases, more than that.
So is the 9X a great phone? Far from it. The 9X is an average phone with better competition out there. The Honor 9X is the last phone with Google’s support and it’s a damp squib.
