Xiaomi Mi 9 6/128GB Singapore Price
Xiaomi has been known lately for producing very reasonably priced hardware products. In fact, they decided that their profit per piece of hardware will not exceed 5%. This simple rule has made them climb the ladder of the smartphone market as well as other hardware-focused industries.
With their latest offering, the Mi 9, Xiaomi is taking the war to flagship devices of other brands. Has this phone exposed the other flagship brands?
Let’s find out.
The design of the Mi 9 is pretty straight forward. It has a slightly curved back and is available in three colours – Piano Black, Ocean Blue and Lavender Violet.
The back has a glass finish and more importantly, looks and feels premium. The back also has varying gradients that make for an interesting look.
The display is a 6.39-inch AMOLED display that has a resolution of 1080 X 2340. Although the phone’s display is not as great as that of the other flagships, considering its price point, this phone has the best value to feature ratio.
The software that powers this phone is a Android 9.0 Pie with the MIUI 10 layer on top. Honestly, a lot of people aren’t big fans of the MIUI, but it has grown considerably and it’s a lot more user friendly.
The Snapdragon 855 SoC makes sure that this phone is on top of its game. This chipset ensures that the display and cameras and battery life are considerably improved.
The cameras on the Mi 9 will blow your mind away. It has a 3-primary camera set up that is 48MP, 12MP and 16MP respectively. It has various features such as lossless optical zoom and wide-angle sensors that have a 117-degree shooting angle.
The front camera is a 20-megapixel shooter.
The 3300 mAh ensures that users get a full day of battery life, although the capacity is lesser than its predecessor.
This is that sort of device that will beat the likes of Samsung and Apple. If you want a flagship and aren’t caught up on prestige, the Mi 9 will make your day!
