The Vivo V11 is a case of rapid experimentation in the year 2018. First things first, the V11’s notch is a teardrop shape.
The notch encloses a 25 megapixel front facing camera.
Coming to the display of the V11, it’s a 6.4 inch AMOLED display. The backside steals the show. Vivo has immersed itself into the look of this phone and have created two colours that are Starry Night and Nebula.
Under a light source, the phone reflects stars and it’s one of the most beautiful smartphones out there.
The back has a plastic finish and is pretty lightweight.
The Processor on this phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 that is more than what’s expected of a mid-range smartphone.
It comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB in internal storage, expandable up to 256GB.
Vivo has always advertised itself as the best selfie smartphone in the world and they have more than fared well in that department.
The front camera is 25MP and the primary camera is a dual-setup with 12MP and 5MP respectively.
So how have the camera features of the V11 improved from the V9. With the AI features of course. The AI of this camera has a real-time face shaping tool. So extra fat on the face is trimmed, to make you look more presentable (And fake).
The battery on this phone is a respectable 3400 mAh battery.
Overall the Vivo V11 is a solid mid-range phone with enviable looks and a solid display. It isn’t lacking in any department. The cameras are brilliant, the battery life is good and the storage is plenty.
If anybody is looking for a good smartphone and don’t want to spend too much money, this is the phone of their dreams.
