Talking about the Mate 9. Where do we start?

This is a power packed machine that competes directly with the likes of the iPhone and Google’s Pixel.

The Mate 9 boasts a 5.9 inch screen and is expected to launch in November 2016.

The processor is a 4GB RAM Hisilicon Kirin 960. It’s chinese made processor that works on Machine Learning and is blazingly fast.

It runs on a 4000 mAh and with the Huawei Supercharge feature, the phone charges fully in 20 minutes.

Now one of the best features in the Mate 9 is the camera. Huawei understands that the phone is a photography tool as much as it is as a device for other things. It has a dual primary camera of 20MP powered by Leica optics with 2X zoom, phase detection and autofocus. Frankly it looks very cool. The front camera is a meager 8MP which isn’t that good.

Huawei have worked with the UI and created their own called the EMUI 5.0

It comes with a fingerprint sensor in the back, similar to the Pixel. It’s also blazingly fast. You can use the one touch sensor to directly access a private space.

Only time will tell if the Mate 9 can match it’s world leading competitors.
