This is a mighty phone with a mighty screen that has a 6.7-inch display which is larger than the Samsung S20. It also has a higher screen to body ratio of 90% compared to the S20. The HDR10+ is available on the S20+.
In terms of an immersive experience, this phone is amazing.
It has a Gorilla Glass 6 display in the front and the back. The display also houses a fingerprint scanner.
The cameras on the back look very similar to how Apple has set-up their latest cameras. The back of the phone also has some interesting colour options such as Cosmic Grey, Cloud Blue, Cosmic Black and Cosmic White.
It has 128GB of storage with a powerful 8GB RAM. It runs on Android 10 with a One UI 2 layer on top.
The UI itself is pretty intuitive and as Android experiences go, this is one of the best we’ve seen. The Exynos 990 Chipset powers this phone. With a Mali-G77 GPU, it’s a pretty good phone for gaming.
Coming to the camera. It’s a major upgrade compared to the older version, but it’s the same camera as the Samsung S20 itself.
A 12MP wide lens, 64MP telephoto lens and a 12MP ultrawide lens. It can shoot 4320p @ 21fps.
For video creators, this is an ultimate phone.
The front camera is a 10MP shooter that shoots amazing portrait shots.
The camera on the S20+ is upgraded from a software and a hardware standpoint.
The bigger displays warrant a bigger battery compared to the S20 and Samsung delivers. It has a 4500 mAh battery with 25W fast charging capabilities.
The S20+ is the middle child in the S20 series and is a perfect match of features and price when compared to the other phones. If you aren’t sure about the S20 and the S20 Ultra, the S20+ delivers.
