Samsung A9 (2018) Singapore Price
If you think the smartphone camera war is getting out of hand, then you think right. Cameras have become a number’s game. What started with as dual cameras, have become triple cameras and now with Samsung A9 (2018), it’s 4.
Does this phone have what it takes? Let’s find out
The front of the phone is a 6.3 inch FHD+ AMOLED display that is big and with bezels around the display. Watching 720p content on this phone is a solid experience.
The back of the phone has a glass finish with gradient colours that change colours when lights fall on them. Available in Bubble Gum Pink and Lemonade Blue, this phone is a head turner.
It has a provision for two nano SIM cards and a microSD card.
Powering this device is the octa-core Snapdragon 660 chipset which is a standard for a mid-range phone. The phone comes with a 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Coming to the cameras.
The addition of the 4 cameras to Samsung A9 (2018) Singapore, is a bit confusing because it isn’t a flagship model, but a mid-range phone.
Looking beyond that.
The primary cameras are a 24MP main camera and an 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide lens, a 10MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and lastly a 5MP depth sensor.
The front camera is a 24MP lens.
Understandably, there are numerous features in the camera app such as Live Focus, Beauty, Scene Optimizer and more. One can easily switch between the wide angle lens, 2x zoom lens and the standard one.
The battery that powers this phone is a 3800 mAh that lasts for an entire day.
This is an amazing phone but it still is a mid-range phone that is a bit expensive. If you are a camera lover, then this phone is a must buy.
