Oppo R15 Singapore
The R15 is a flagship smartphone from Oppo. With features similar to the iPhone, it’s a budget iPhone for the masses. The R15 Singapore carries a 6.28 inch display that is a AMOLED. It runs on the Android 8.1, Oreo and boasts dual cameras that are 16MP and 5MP respectively. It can capture video well with 2160p @ 30fps.
Oppo has spent quite a bit of money to make the phone beautiful and it’s safe to say they have achieved it with the signature paint jobs and catchy colours such as nebula purple. There’s 128GB internal storage that can be expandable.
It’s powered by a 3400 mAh battery that is VOOC enabled for fast charging. The display is bezel less and it’s edge to edge, similar to the iPhone X. It does come with a notch though. The back is made of glass that comes with it’s own protective cover. Apart from the nebula purple, the R15 is available in hot red and snow white.
There’s a fingerprint sensor in the back that helps you unlock the phone. There’s also the face recognition that works quite well with 120 different recognition points. You cannot fool this face recognition software with a picture.
The R15 Singapore runs on the MediaTek Helio P60 chipset that works well for a mid range phone.
The camera co-developed with Sony auto detects the scene and can identify common scenes and objects like food, pets etc.
The R15 is a complete package in terms of what normal people want from a smartphone. A solid camera, a powerful processor, a good looking and elegant looking exterior and a phone that works.
This is a must buy phone for people who want the iPhone experience in a budget.
