From the stables of Oppo is the Ax5. Oppo has advertised this phone with two main features, the bigger battery life and the dual cameras.
Getting to the specs
The Ax5 Singapore Oppo Model has a 6.2 inch LCD IPS Display with a notch. Although it isn’t completely bezel less, it gives an immersive feel.
But the front of the phone isn’t the talking point, it’s the back. It has a diamond back cover with cut glass sections that works as a gradient. In one word it’s beautiful.
The chipset is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450. It runs on Android 8.1(Oreo) with Colour OS 5.2 as the UI/UX layer.
It’s a dual sim phone as well as a dual camera phone with the primary cameras being a combination of 13MP + 2MP Dual LED Flash. The camera boasts of an AI mode that creates a soft depth of field effect.
The front camera is a respectable 8MP. It has a selfie tune feature which focuses on creating better selfies with the Vivid Mode.
It has a 64GB internal memory and a 3/4GB RAM. The battery on this phone is 4230 mAh which is capable of running for 17 hours continuously. The smart battery management system also aids in improving the battery life.
Another cool UX feature is the full screen multitasking which lets you use two apps simultaneously and reply to texts without disturbing your gaming experience.
The Colour OS 5.1 also has a facial unlock feature that is instant.
The music party feature lets you connect with 10 phones simultaneously and let’s you bring a party atmosphere with just a few phones and music.
The UI on this phone is incredible with beautiful interfaces for inbuilt apps like Calendar and Music.
