The Body is made of Aluminum frame, Gorilla Glass 5 front and back and it’s IP68 certified for water and dust resistance. Although it’s a glass phone, it has magnesium beams that protect the phone from shocks and falls. It’s also one of the best rated phones out there in terms of protection and safety.
The Display is 6.1″ bezel less screen.
The Rear camera is dual with one being a 16MP f/1.6 primary camera with an Additional 16MP f/1.9 wide-angle camera. There’s 2160p/30fps video recording on both.

There is a dedicated button to power the AI, which is run by Google Assistant. Due to the latest tech in mics, chipsets the far-field voice recognition is pretty spot on with the G7 with a range of 5 metres that can be heard by Google AI in noisy environments.
It comes in various colors such as New Aurora Black, New Moroccan Blue, New Platinum Gray, New Raspberry Rose. They all looks amazing.
The G7 doesn’t stand out for a single feature, it’s an overall a good phone.
