Huawei Mediapad T5 10.1 LTE Singapore
Huawei has been killing it lately with their devices and they come out with a new tablet device that is the Huawei Mediapad T5.
Coming to the most important aspect, the Mediapad T5 is equipped with a 10.1-inch IPS display with a 1920 X 1080 resolution. With a 340 nits brightness, the brightness of this device is a little lacking and is good for indoor use.
The software running the tablet is Huawei’s very own EMUI 8.0 which is a layer on top on Android Oreo. The EMUI has been upgraded and improved over the years and works well for the Mediapad T5.
What makes this tablet a stand out is the HiSilicon 659 SoC processor and the ARM-Mali T830 MP2 GPU. It has 3GB RAM and 32GB of Internal Storage.
Being a mid-range tablet, it is still pretty decent for gaming, considering its processor and GPU.
The Mediapad T5 has two cameras, the primary camera is a 5MP shooter and a 2MP selfie camera. The cameras are nothing to write about, as this device is not meant to take photos. But there are camera features such as instant photo manipulation which let you work on the images you have taken.
The Mediapad has a 5100 mAh battery and lasts for up to 9 hours. But it takes almost 4 hours for a full charge which means this is more of a casual use device.
Being a mid-level device, the Mediapad T5 from Huawei is not a device for all purposes like the features suggest as the cameras are below average, it takes a while to charge. It does not have a quick charge feature and also does not possess a finger print scanner.
Overall the Mediapad T5 is perfect for content consumption and light-use and has to be charged overnight.
