So what’s new in the Huawei Band 4 Pro?
The Huawei Band 4 Pro has a 0.95-inch AMOLED screen with a touchscreen button and a glossy screen. It has a 282 PPI. The brightness on the Band 4 Pro is pretty low in outside settings which is a big let down for a smartwatch.
The Band 4 comes with numerous watch faces that can be downloaded one at a time. It also comes with a metal frame that looks premium and is available in new strap colours.
The Band 4 Pro runs on both Android and iOS smartphones. Huawei’s health app is used to connect the Band 4 Pro with the smartphone.
Connecting the Band 4 Pro with other smartphones apart from Huawei is a bit cumbersome because of the permissions. With a Huawei smartphone, the connection is pretty seamless.
The Pro in this phone is because of the GPS functionality. It doesn’t allow satellite tracking or export of data, but it’s one of the most accurate GPS systems out there.
The sports tracking features are what sets this fitness band apart. It can track running, walking, cycling and indoor activities. It can go up to a depth of 5 metres with ease under water.
You also get professional reports of your sporting activities and your work out and you can compare your current performance with your past performance.
The battery on the Band 4 Pro is a 100 mAh li-ion battery that can easily last for a week and with the heart rate monitoring feature, it should give you about five days of continuous use, which is pretty great.
It takes 1.5 hours to fully charge the Band 4 Pro which isn’t much time at all for 5 days of continuous battery.
The Band 4 pro is a pretty awesome smart band for its price.
