Honor 8X 4/128gb Singapore Price
Huawei’s Honor brand has been making a lot of noise lately with their feature packed phones at affordable prices. The next in line is the Honor 8X Singapore.
This is the kind of phone that gives Samsung and Apple executives sleepless nights. The first thing that really stands out on this phone are the cameras. These cameras are touted to be flagship level at the price of a budget smartphone.
Before we get to the camera, let’s cover the basics.
The screen is a 6.5 inch LCD screen with a simple notch finish. It’s a dual sim phone that runs on Android 8.1 and the chipset is Hisilicon Kirin 710(12nm).
The RAM is 6GB with 128GB in internal storage. The internal storage is expandable up to 400GB.
The primary camera is a dual camera set-up with 20MP (f/1.8) and a 2MP sensor camera. The front selfie camera is a 16MP with f/2.0. They have AI features, thanks to the powerful processor.
These aren’t your namesake cameras, they compete with the best of the best. The digital zoom feature lets you take high-quality close-ups without affecting the quality of the photo.
The software of the camera works as hard as the hardware. It will take some time to get used to it, but you should spend some time in understanding features, like the “Capture Smiles” feature that automatically takes a photo when smiles are detected and the “Object Tracking” feature that lets your camera track a particular object and take a photo while it’s moving.
Powering this budget phone is a 3750 mAh battery. A review isn’t justified without mentioning the colours of the Honor 8X. Although the colours advertised are Black, Blue, Red Pink. They are much shinier and have a gradient-glass finish that is reflective and beautiful.
For a budget smartphone, this is an amazing device because of its camera quality. If you are camera obsessed, then don’t think twice about getting the Honor 8X.
