BlackBerry Key2 Le Singapore
Of all the phone companies that took a hit, Blackberry took the biggest hit and almost went bankrupt. They make a comeback with the Key2 LE. Let’s see how it fares.
Firstly the design of the phone is a bit standard from the back, with a textured background that has a grip which helps in holding and the back also has the Blackberry logo. It’s stylish enough to have a second look.
The front of the phone should not be a surprise for Blackberry fans as the Key2 LE has a physical keyboard.
The display is also a touchscreen, which is a bit of a reprieve. The backlit keyboard comes with a fingerprint sensor that is integrated.
The display part of the screen is 4.5 inches and has a 23-bit colour depth.
The best part of this device is the OS. It runs on Android OS 8.1 Oreo. This is a stock Android phone. For people who love the pure Android experience, this is the best part.
The processor is a Qualcomm® SDM 636, Kryo 260 Octa-Core 4. The phone comes with an internal storage of 32GB or 64GB and 4GB of RAM.
The battery of this phone is quite special, not because of the size of the battery which is 3000 mAh but more so because of how much it can last. It’s expected to last for over 22.5 hours. In the smartphone world that is enormous!
Coming to the cameras, the primary camera is a dual camera setup with 13MP + 5MP (Dual Tone LED Flash. It can shoot in 4K HDR and and has features like private capture and the bokeh effect.
The front camera is a 8MP shooter with a selfie flash. It can shoot 1080p videos.
In summary, this is a perfect mix of the old Blackberry with the new age smartphone experience that we have come to expect. Priced lower than the flagships, this is a phone to look out for.
