Motorola is owned by Lenovo now and they’ve been shipping phones with the Moto brand name. The latest release is the Moto G6 Plus.
The Moto G6 Plus is a dual sim smartphone that weighs 167 grams. The back has a glass finish and an aluminium frame.
The screen size is 5.9 inches, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3
The OS is Android 8.0 (Oreo). The best part about the OS is the customisation from Motorola. They make it easy to switch on and off certain features. The chipset is a Qualcomm SDM630 Snapdragon 630.
The Internal memory comes in two versions – 64 GB and 128GB. The RAM also comes in two versions – 4GB and 6GB.
It’s expandable up to 256GB.
The G6 Plus is camera heavy with dual primary cameras that are 12MP and 5MP respectively. It has a Dual-LED dual tone flash.
The video shoots 2160p at 30fps.
The front selfie camera is 8MP with LED flash.

Considering it’s a mid-range phone, it’s a surprise that Motorola Singapore offers USB-C charging.
It ships in 3 colours, Indigo, Gold, Nimbus.
To summarise this phone, the battery life is amazing, the fingerprint scanner is super quick. The software customization from Motorola is admirable. The build quality is sturdy and the FHD+ screen is perfect.
