Samsung Galaxy S7 Review

Samsung Galaxy S7 Singapore, with its curved edges looks classy and is sleeker than iphone 6S. It is a dual sim smart phone with all major connectivity options including Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G, 4G and NFC.

The size of the phone is perfect to fit in your pockets and is extremely light with a weight of about 157 gm.

Super AMOLED capacitive touch Screen with a size of 5.1 inch provides good display with great resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels which contributes to an amazing experience while watching videos.

The phone has dimensions (l X B X H) of 142.40 x 69.60 x 7.90 in mm. which makes it easy to carry. Its quick fingerprint sensor and accelometer work wonders and provides trouble free usage.

It has an inbuilt battery and all the components are perfectly sealed except micro USB port and earphone jacks which make it dust proof and water proof up to a depth of 1.5 meters for about 30 minutes. It makes a great phone for those who are always bugged with dust and rain and you can be rest assured for your phones safety in monsoons.

The 5 MP front camera gives fine results for selfie lovers. However, the result of the rear camera which is 12MP is great but confusingly it is quite less for a phone like this. It is packed with a photo and video auditor.

Like most of the smamsung phones, Samsung Galaxy S7 too is a victim of poor speakers. Think twice before opting for it, if you like listening to music on the go. However, it has a powerful battery of 3000 mAh, which charges real fast and it is remarkable to note that it charges up to 70% in just 30 Minutes which provides a commendable power packed performance.

It has Exynos 8890 processor Qualcomm MSM8996, Snapdragon 820 chipset with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow which provides clutter free aesthetics. The worst drawback is that it works with samsung apps and googles native offering like Gmail is incompatible with it. So, if you go for it, you have to bid farewell to facebook and twitter. It comes with 1.6GHz octa-core processor and 4GB of RAM, with an internal memory of 32 GB which can be increased to 200 GB via using a microSD card. Like all new smart phones in market, it supports 4G.

This phone is great for those who love gaming as it comes with an option of recording your game.

However, its TouchWiz is still quirky, wish samsung guys work bit harder on it. I hate this beautiful phone of mine as it notifies only for Samsungs own messages, emails and phone. So, it’s a frustrating if you want your gmail or whatsapp notifications.

It makes a good phone to use during night owing to an advanced Proximity sensor and Ambient light sensor. Even when you press the power button to lock the phone you can still see date, time and remaining battery on the screen, which also helps night users of phone. Its black, white, gold and silver coloured variants are available in the market.
